Product bundles on Shopify — single-vs-bundle, checkout-safe

A bundle on Shopify should feel like one decision: do I want just this product, or the whole set? Profit Flow AOV Bundle renders exactly that — a single-vs-bundle selector — and makes the saving real at checkout, not just on the page.

What the shopper sees

Two choices on the product page:

1. Just this product — the anchor product alone, full price (selected by default).
2. Complete the set — the anchor plus its extras (1–6 products), shown as a grid or a stacked list, with a savings line and an optional badge.

The theme’s own Add to cart / Buy it now adds the current choice — pick the bundle and the base plus every extra go in with one click. There is no separate widget button.

Two ways to anchor the bundle

• Specific product — the widget is attached to one product; that product and its extras are discounted. The savings line reads “Save X% on the bundle”.
• All products / a collection — the widget shows on those product pages with the current product as the base; only the extras are discounted (the current product stays full price). The line reads “Save X% on the extras”.

Checkout-safe by design

A Shopify Discount Function applies the bundle discount only while the whole set is in the cart — remove an item and it reverts. If the configuration is incomplete, no discount applies (fail-closed). So the price the shopper sees is exactly what Shopify charges.

Set it up

1. Install Profit Flow AOV Bundle and create a Bundle offer.
2. Choose Show widget on — a specific product (that product is the discounted base), or a collection / all products (base = the current product, extras discounted).
3. Add 1–6 extra products, set the discount (percentage or fixed), an optional title and badge, and a Grid or Stacked layout.
4. Add the app block to the product page and publish.
